This is an agreement for personal services of musicians on the engagement described below made by and between [group_name] (hereafter called “The Artist”) and the undersigned Purchaser of Performance (hereafter called “Client”) this [contract_creation_date].

Additional Terms

• If the performance is outdoors, the musicians need some shade in the form of a tent, canopy, overhang, etc.
• In the event of inclement weather, the instruments cannot be exposed to potentially damaging precipitation and an alternative performance location will be needed.
• The Artists and their equipment need a performance environment between 62°F and 90°F.
• The Artists require one armless chair per musician, pre-set in the performance area.
• The Artists require reasonable load-in/load-out conditions including suitable elevators, solid dry ground and a reasonable distance between loading zone and performance space.
• The Artist(s)’ performance shall not be recorded for reproduction or transmission other than for archival purposes without written agreement.
• If requested, Artists may be available for overtime subject to availability and an additional $50 per musician per each 15 minutes requested.

Cancellation Policy

Down Payment (Non-Refundable): 50% of the total contract price, due at contract submission.

Cancellation 30 Days or More Before the Event: If cancellation occurs within 14 days of booking, only the 50% deposit is required. After 14 days from booking, an additional 25% of the total contract price is due (75% total).

Cancellation Less Than 30 Days Before the Event: An additional 25% of the total contract price is due (100% total).

No Notice of Cancellation: Full balance due (100% total).

Timeline finalization: Event timelines are flexible and can be changed up to two months prior to the performance with written notice.
